Our checks are designed to gather public evidence without bypassing website access controls.
No authentication bypass
We do not bypass logins, authentication, CAPTCHAs or other access controls to reach private content.
Bounded scanning
Website checks are rate-limited and bounded so the scanner does not crawl a website without limits.
Blocked means unverified
If a website blocks, challenges or prevents a check from completing reliably, PublishSentry does not treat that as evidence that information is missing.
What PublishSentry does not need
Website credentials
No administrator login or website password is required.
No installation
No plugin, script or software needs to be installed on the funeral director website.
No private business systems
PublishSentry does not require access to private customer, staff or case-management systems to perform a public website check.
Evidence used in a report
Traceable evidence
PublishSentry records the public pages and documents used to support a finding so the result can be traced back to the source that was checked.
Discovery is not proof
Search results, cached references, guessed locations or inaccessible documents may help discover information, but they are not treated as proof of a live website finding.
When a website cannot be checked
Some websites may block automated access, require JavaScript, present a challenge page or otherwise prevent a reliable check.
When that happens, PublishSentry may report that the check could not be completed. It does not turn scanner uncertainty into an allegation that required information is missing.
